How to style pet artwork in your home
A portrait of your dog deserves better than leaning against the skirting board. Here are some practical ideas for where to hang it and how to make it sit well with what you already have.

Living rooms
The living room is where your dog spends most of their time, so it is a natural home for their portrait. An A2 or 50 × 50 cm square print works well above a sofa or sideboard, hung so the centre sits roughly at eye level.
Hallways
Hallways are perfect for smaller A3 prints or a run of matching portraits. They are also where everyone sees them on the way in and out.
Bedrooms
A softer style can suit a bedroom, or a child's room if the dog is their best friend. A named print makes it even more personal.
Gallery walls
Mix your dog's portrait in with family photos, postcards and other prints. Lay everything out on the floor first, keep the gaps between frames consistent, and use the largest piece as the anchor.
Matching artwork to your décor
Look at the colours you already have. Bold, bright rooms suit the Electric, Neon and Magenta pop art styles. Neutral or monochrome spaces suit the Stencil style. Cubist Pop brings warmth and texture to plain walls. Read more in Banksy-style and cubism-style pet portraits.
Our prints are sold unframed, so you can choose a frame that matches your room.
Single pet portraits and multi-pet artwork
One dog? Give them the spotlight with a single large print. Several pets? Try matching prints in the same style, or see our guide to family and multi-pet portraits.
Every portrait is printed as an unframed giclée print in A3 (£24.99), A2 (£39.99) or a 50 × 50 cm square (£39.99), with free delivery anywhere in the UK. Create your portrait to see how it looks.
